I saw both the Anish Kapoor and Frida Kahlo exhibitions this week as well. Completely agree with you. Anish Kapoor was amazing. I thought I was going to see an exhibition of Frida’s work. I only read the Tate’s blurb afterwards and it’s actually about her as in icon. There are so few of her works and 200 by other artists! Maybe if I knew that going in it might have been better. I was very underwhelmed.
